The worldwide unsettling impact of COVID-19 has left organizations and C-level executives with unprecedented levels of uncertainty. Leaders, in times of crisis, must communicate new and evolving strategies with calm, strength, and clarity. Many Chief Human Resource Officers (CHRO) are implementing the Payroll Protection Program to help employees alleviate the fear getting laid off and having steady income as they work from home. Others are instituting new Employee Assistance Programs to help individuals and families deal with the emotional and relational impact the pandemic is creating. Future thinking executives are looking at skill building and training that either can be done online now or instituted after things settle down to help lead teams back from crisis, equipped and ready to go.
Personally, I am making the choice to take this time to work on building ecosystem merging and accelerating my relationships, so that when the timing is right, I can help create value to businesses and provide disruptive driven results.
